Come create fun and accessible projects to learn how you can turn your classroom into a Makerspace on the cheap!
In this 90-min hands-on workshop, staff from the Digital Harbor Foundation will guide you through hands-on experiences that build your capacity to integrate Maker activities into your existing program regardless of your organization’s size, budget, or experience level.
Participants will be given an overview of the various types of Makerspaces, the variety of
activities they facilitate, and how they can be “leveled up” over time by adding additional
projects and technologies. Additionally, participants will enjoy introductory hands-on
activities to specific maker tools and supplies that are both inexpensive and approachable.
