NJASCD North Presents: SGO's Now What?

Hear from the experts at NJDOE and NJEA reflect on the first year of implementation and share suggestions for moving forward.

Presented by: Richard Wilson & Anthony Fitzpatrick

Richard Wilson is the Associate Director of Professional Development and Instructional Issues at NJEA. His primary focus is on collaborative professional learning and teacher evaluation. Prior to his appointment in 2008 to this position, Richard was a special education teacher in Audobon, New Jersey for 31 years. Richard is the author of OMG, I Have to Create My SGO, published in the September 2013 issue of NJEA Review.

Anthony J. Fitzpatrick is the Implementation Manager for the Achieve NJ Teacher and Principal Evaluation System for the New Jersey Department of Education. Prior to his appointment to this position, Anthony worked for the Kingsway Regional School District for ten years. He taught 7th through 12th grade Social Studies at Kingsway Middle and High School for eight years, and then was Supervisor of Curriculum and Technology for two years.
